Qualifications and Requirements A minimum three-year BSW or other three year social sciences degree is requiredA four-year HBSW degree is preferredThree or more years experience in Child Welfare/Protection servicesSupervisory experience preferredDirect service experience with Anishinabek children and familiesA satisfactory Criminal Records Check, Vulnerable Sector SearchAbility to work flexible hoursAbility to travel regularly and to act on an "on-call" basis in relation to service requirementsValid Class "G" Driver's licenseAccess to a reliable, personal vehicle$1,000,000 liability vehicle insuranceCandidates without the specific education qualifications and where the position does not require certified qualification to practice, but who possess an appropriate combination of child welfare experience and other academic qualifications will also be considered.
