Responsibilities Skilled Forklift Operation: Proficiently operate an Order Picker Forklift, demonstrating safe and efficient material handling techniques while navigating both narrow and standard‑width aisles. Accurate Order Fulfillment: Execute precise order picking and fulfillment tasks by accurately using RF scanning technology to maintain exceptional inventory control and accuracy. Manual Material Handling: Perform physical duties, including the safe lifting and handling of items weighing up to 50 lbs. System Navigation: Experience with wire‑guided forklift systems for optimized navigation and efficiency is considered a strong asset. Safety and Compliance: Uphold all workplace health and safety standards by performing daily pre‑operational inspections on equipment and adhering strictly to established safety protocols to maintain a secure environment. Warehouse Organization: Contribute to operational excellence by consistently maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard‑free work station and surrounding areas. Collaborative Teamwork: Support seamless team operations by assisting with general warehouse duties and other tasks as required by operational needs. Qualifications Order Picker Experience: A minimum of six months of recent, practical experience operating an Order Picker forklift is required. High‑Volume Environment Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to perform effectively and efficiently within a fast‑paced, high‑volume warehouse or distribution centre setting. Required Certifications: Must possess a valid, externally issued forklift license with a specific certification for the Order Picker machine. A current Fall Arrest certification is also mandatory. Physical Stamina: The physical capacity to consistently and safely lift and manage items weighing up to 50 lbs. Meticulous Attention to Detail: A strong commitment to accuracy, precision, and upholding all workplace safety protocols. Preferred Skills: Previous experience utilizing wire guidance systems is considered a significant asset, although it is not a mandatory requirement.
