Work with us while you are completing the RPL Program. Funding is available through the Department of Health and Wellness for the Recognized Prior Learning (RPL) Program. RPL program information The CCA-RPL program recognizes knowledge, skills, and attitudes gained through on-the-job training, formal education, and life experiences to be assessed for credit toward CCA program education. Funding for CCA Programs at community colleges is also available; the Nova Scotia Government covers tuition and most program costs for eligible applicants. Working conditions and physical demands This role requires a detail-oriented approach in a dynamic environment, with physical activity including lifting, carrying (using proper techniques), bending, reaching, kneeling, and other movements that emphasize good body mechanics. Individuals in the role are required to walk, sit, stand, and climb stairs throughout the day, with some tasks requiring fine hand movements.
