Job Description We are looking for a Continuing Care Assistant (PSW) to join our Embassy Hall team based in Quispamsis, New Brunswick. Collaborates with the resident and other members of the interdisciplinary team in the development of individualized Resident Care Plans. Assists in the planning and implementation of resident leisure activities on a daily basis. Assists with light housekeeping duties. Performs delegated nursing acts according to company policy and scope of practice. Communicates and reports relevant information regarding resident care or safety to the Supervisor. About You A valid Personal Support Worker Acute Care diploma or Provincial Personal Care Worker course or equivalent. Ability to work a schedule of flexible hours and shifts inclusive of days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Availability to work a minimum of 6 shifts per quarter, all shift types and days of the week. Ability to provide a clear criminal record with vulnerable sector screening upon hire. Valid CPR & First Aid Certification or BLS (required). Advanced proficiency in the English language is required; proficiency in French considered an asset. Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care course considered an asset. Previous working experience with elderly in long‑term care or a senior living environment an asset. A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care.
