Join or Sign In to Find Your Next Job Join to apply for the Manufacturing Technician role at DarkVision DarkVision, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is looking for a Manufacturing Technician to join our manufacturing operations in North Vancouver. The successful candidate will support manufacturing, product development, and research. This hands‑on position focuses on electro‑mechanical assembly and testing. This is an on‑site full‑time position in our HQ, with access to a gym, squash court, climbing wall, steam room, and more. Our Team DarkVision produces the world’s most advanced acoustic‑based imaging platform for Oil & Gas and industrial asset inspection. Our Manufacturing team builds subcomponents, subassemblies, and final assemblies for our state‑of‑the‑art ultrasound probes. What You Will Do Form and fabricate piezo‑electric transducers, micro‑solder, mold, etc. Build research apparatus such as test platforms and jigs, and our core products. Carry out experiments and product validation using test equipment. Replace and repair components, refurbishing ultrasonic scanning tools. Learn new technologies while ensuring high standards of quality. Measure incoming parts against drawings. Note: This position does not involve automation or programming. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Experience in product assembly or technical hobbies in mechanics or electronics. Soldering experience. Mechanical aptitude – hands‑on experience assembling, disassembling, reassembling. Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams. What Will Put You Ahead Strong interest in building and tinkering with electronics or mechanics. Technical certificate or diploma from a technical institute in manufacturing, mechatronics, electrical, electronics, mechanical, or similar field. Ability to build components from specifications. Proficiency with electronic test equipment such as multimeters. Experience in QC and measurement of components. Experience soldering under microscope. Meticulous, precise, detail‑orientated approach. General Compensation For this role, we anticipate paying $50,000 to $65,000 per year. Additional variable pay may be provided.
