We are looking for an Industrial Electrician to support production at our Halifax, NS plant. This job is Monday to Friday working days. Responsibilities Install, upgrade, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring truck? Wait. Actually: Install, upgrade, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices, and projection equipment. Repair and replace electric and electronic components (motors, contractors, relays, timers, switches, motor дома é›? etc.). Run power supply lines to new and/or relocated equipment and wire new control panels. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production and auxiliary equipment. Splice and terminate electrical conductors, test electrical and electronic equipment for proper function. Respond to mechanical breakdowns and ensure proper function on completion. Ability to complete rebuildsITA? Actually: Ability to complete rebuilds and modify equipment operation using parts and techniques to improve efficiency and according to manufacturer's specs. Machine installation and/or move as required including initial set‑up. אתה> Qualifications Certificate of qualification – Red Seal. 4th Year apprentice consideration. Experience in Manufacturing, Industrial environment. Strong mechanical aptitude. Knowledge of PLC/HMI an asset. In depth knowledge of motor control, AD/DC motor drives, trouble shooting skills and HMI’s. Demonstrated troubleshooter - problem solving and technical skills. Strong teamwork values, priority driven with the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Flexibility, adaptable team player with excellent communication, organizational, time management and planning skills. Priority driven, self‑motivated with a positive attitude.
