BizTalk Developer

Overview Join to apply for the BizTalk Developer (contract) role at Capgemini. We are seeking a BizTalk Developer to design, implement, and support enterprise integration solutions within the Capital Markets domain. This role requires strong technical proficiency in Microsoft BizTalk Server (preferably 2020), .NET Framework, SQL Server, and related integration technologies. Key Responsibilities Design and develop BizTalk solutions, including schemas, maps, orchestrations, pipelines, and custom adapters. Implement integration patterns and protocols (XML, EDI, AS2, SOAP, REST) to enable cross‑system communication. Configure, deploy, and maintain BizTalk applications across clustered environments. Create and manage WCF services, SQL stored procedures, triggers, tables, joins, and cursors. Conduct functional and regression testing to ensure complete test coverage of code changes. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to message routing, transformations, orchestrations, and pipelines. Monitor, optimize, and fine‑tune BizTalk applications for performance, scalability, and reliability. Manage installation, configuration, and patching of BizTalk Server environments and supporting components. Enforce security standards and implement access controls to safeguard sensitive data. Perform root cause analysis for incidents (P1–P4) and develop preventive measures. Collaborate with infrastructure and business stakeholders to plan and implement system changes. Maintain accurate documentation, including deployment guides, design specs, and SOPs/fix logs. Follow ITIL‑aligned processes for incident, problem, and change management. Engage with end users and business clients to translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions. Apply domain knowledge of Capital Markets (bonds, securities, loans, repos, equities, forex) to integration design and troubleshooting. Support applications related to accounting, financial reporting, and credit risk. Adhere to a 3‑day onsite work requirement each week. Technical Profile 8–10+ years of overall experience, including 8+ years in BizTalk development and support. Expertise in Microsoft BizTalk Server (2020 preferred). Strong experience with .NET Framework 3.5/4.0, WCF, SQL Server 2016/2019, and XML. Proficiency with BizTalk artifacts such as Schemas, Maps, Orchestrations, BRE, and Pipelines. Hands‑on experience with SOAP, HTTP, FTP/SFTP, POP3, SMTP, and WCF adapters. Familiarity with Control‑M or similar job scheduling tools. Working knowledge of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) patterns. Configuration management, build, and deployment experience. Knowledge of ITIL, Incident/Problem/Change Management, and production support best practices. Functional Profile Strong collaboration with business stakeholders and infrastructure teams. Analytical problem solver with proactive troubleshooting capabilities. Capable of understanding and mapping functional finance processes to technical integration solutions. Effective communicator with both technical and non‑technical audiences. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a high‑paced environment. Experience supporting Capital Markets applications is mandatory. Compensation & Benefits The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $34.38/hour - $53.72/hour.
