Band 7 Locum Oncology Pharmacist - Oxford Oxford Role: Locum Oncology PharmacistBanding: Band 7Location: OxfordStart Date: ASAPDuration: OngoingHours: Full-timeRate: Competitive About the role The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Oncology Pharmacist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialized pharmaceutical care to oncology patients, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. Key Responsibilities You will prepare and dispense chemotherapy and other oncology-related medications. You will provide clinical pharmacy services to oncology patients, including medication therapy management and patient counselling. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. You will monitor patient responses to therapy and make necessary adjustments. You will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. You will participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care planning. You will educate patients and healthcare staff on oncology medications and their proper use. Requirements Experience/Knowledge: Up to date GPhC registration. Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Pharmacy or Oncology Pharmacy is preferred. Hospital experience is required. Experience in an Oncology Pharmacy setting. Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Time management and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
