OverviewMortgage Specialist – Renewals, Internal Sales at First National Financial LP. The role focuses on retention of existing clients through renewals, early renewals and savings.The OpportunityThe Mortgage Specialist is responsible for the retention of existing clients through renewals, early renewals and savings.How You Will ContributeHandle all incoming calls from the department queue regarding early renewals, maturing accounts and discharge requestsRetention of accounts which are discharged due to a switch or sale of propertySolicit to retain First National customers (inbound and outbound)Selling Mortgage Life Insurance and Home Warranty programsSpeak with clients that are requesting an early renewal for lower interest rates or debt consolidationUtilize technology to aid the mortgage processAccountable for retention percentagesThe Experience You NeedMust possess good communication skills on the telephone and when interacting with internal First National departments and business partnersAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentStrong ability to analyze and resolve problemsShift work would be required to support volume as requiredPrevious inbound/outbound sales experienceKnowledge of mortgage underwriting policies and proceduresKnowledge of mortgage and other debt products to ensure quality First National customer serviceIn accordance with the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) candidates must meet the educational requirements required for registration with FSRA.
