Job Description:

In your role, you will:

  1. Coordinate various initiatives that may be continuous improvement projects
  2. Plan and conduct multi-disciplinary workshops to create a project team, engage stakeholders, and ensure accountability for their deliverables
  3. Support operations in assisting and resolving manufacturing issues
  4. Lead problem-solving activities in a multidisciplinary team environment
  5. Write project mandates and obtain approval from stakeholders and management
  6. Act as a change agent with stakeholders to ensure their leadership of the execution portion of the project
  7. Prepare and present progress reports at governance meetings with the plant management committee
  8. Identify risks and issues upstream based on conditions that may arise during execution
  9. Propose and deploy new ideas to maximize the efficiency of operations
  10. Propose balancing and optimization scenarios for our assembly lines
  11. Understand the impact of projects on the capacity of the plant's areas
  12. Map and update team processes

As our ideal candidate, you:

  • Have a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or other related disciplines
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field
  • Have advanced project management and team leadership skills
  • Have good communication and interpersonal skills at all levels
  • Have a thorough knowledge of the Lean Manufacturing philosophy and principles and can apply, explain, and transmit them to a work team
  • Demonstrate an ability to manage priorities and overcome setbacks
  • Like to have a high level of responsibility and take initiatives
  • Are on the lookout for new trends in the field of continuous improvement
  • Have experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Are autonomous and have a good practical sense
  • Are interested in change management
  • Are bilingual (French (Functional) and English)
  • Master Microsoft Power Platform tools: Power Bi, Power Automate, Power Apps (asset)
  • Have knowledge of manufacturing processes in the aeronautical industry (asset)
