Overview As a Senior Architectural Technologist, you will be a pivotal figure in driving innovation and transformation within our rail and transit facility design projects. This role offers the opportunity to influence the full lifecycle—from design development to construction documentation to contract administration. Responsibilities Lead the production of construction documentation for various building types from conception to completion. Collaborate on multiple projects with internal team members and external consultants, taking projects from design development to construction completion. Act as a trusted adviser coordinating with consultants and identifying high‑level technical solutions. Provide specialized knowledge on materials, technology and processes involved in building design, applying a thorough understanding of building science methodologies. Prepare comprehensive construction documents for planning approvals. Assist with construction administration activities, including shop drawing review, specifications and site instructions. Stay at the forefront of industry advancements by keeping up‑to‑date with legislation, standards and technological innovations. Exhibit strong leadership and relationship‑building skills, mentoring and coaching junior team members. Champion executive decision‑making and strategic development through visionary leadership. Education & Experience Diploma from an accredited Architectural Technologist Program or equivalent. No less than 8 years of relevant experience; 15+ years preferred. Advanced skills with Revit. Specialized knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office applications. What We Prefer You Bring Demonstrated high‑level problem‑solving abilities and analytical skills. Exceptional communication skills that facilitate effective mentoring and team leadership. Experience in receiving executive coaching, setting the stage for legacy building and visionary leadership in architectural design.
