Guest Services Manager at Canad Inns Summary This position focuses on providing guest services management and supporting the hotel in all aspects, while maintaining 100% guest satisfaction. Working closely with the General Manager and other managers as a hands‑on employee, you will be responsible for the overall service delivery from the front of the house, including front desk and bell staff. You will also ensure standards are met and revenues are maximized through effective revenue management and rate controls. Responsibilities Ensure that the budgeted profit of the department is maintained, financial results are properly analyzed, and appropriate action is taken in areas of poor performance. Participate in the development of business strategies aligned with the overall objectives of the hotel and implement them for the department. Oversee daily service and customer interactions. Develop and implement strategies and practices that support employee engagement. Stay current with ratings and offers from programs such as Expedia. Be proficient in all Guest Services positions as a working manager. This description is not intended to be all‑inclusive and can be changed or additional duties added as necessary. Qualifications Experience as a Guest Services Manager or equivalent role, preferably in a hotel environment. Hands‑on experience with Maestro PMS software preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Word and Excel skills. Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational proficiency. Experience in database management and record keeping. Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality. Benefits RRSP matching contributions up to 3% of an employee’s pre‑tax salary.
