We are expanding our Professional Services team and are looking for a dynamic and proactive Data Engineer with expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines and models . In this role, you will work closely with our consulting team and clients to build scalable, high-performance data solutions , gaining hands‑on experience across the project lifecycle. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your technical expertise while developing consulting and problem‑solving skills in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment. Profile – A dynamic and proactive professional with experience in designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines in Azure Educational Qualification – Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or any related fields Typical Experience Skill and Expertise 3+ years of experience in a data engineering role, focusing on building Azure data pipelines. Hands‑on experience with Azure services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL Database. Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages such as Python or Scala. Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data transformation. Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and data governance principles. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git. Excellent problem‑solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a client‑facing role. Primary Responsibility Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines on Microsoft Azure, using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and other Azure data services. Develop ETL/ELT processes to transform raw data into usable formats for analytics. Work with structured and unstructured data, ensuring data quality and governance practices are maintained. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions. Optimize existing data pipelines and troubleshoot any issues related to performance, data flow, or security. Ensure data architecture is secure, scalable, and follows industry best practices. Monitor and maintain pipeline performance, ensuring uptime and reliability for our clients. Nice to have experience with Azure DevOps and infrastructure as code (IaC). Nice to have knowledge of big data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark. Nice to have experience working in a consulting environment or with multiple clients. Don’t meet every job requirement?
