Your work will support everything from cutting‑edge institutional builds to complex industrial sites—and you’ll do it while building trusted relationships with clients and partners. Your Impact Lead structural design delivery for small and medium‑sized projects, ensuring technical excellence and seamless coordination across disciplines. Oversee structural scope on large, complex, multidisciplinary projects—managing resources, technical content, client communications, and project planning end‑to‑end. Apply advanced engineering judgment and perform structural analysis for steel, concrete, timber, and masonry systems, supported by leading‑edge modelling tools. Conduct field reviews, inspections, and condition assessments to evaluate performance and support construction‑phase needs. Prepare detailed design documentation—drawings, sections, specifications—and ensure exceptional quality across all deliverables. Mentor intermediate and junior staff, helping shape the next generation of structural engineering talent at WSP. Contribute to proposals, business development, and strategic pursuits, strengthening WSP’s presence and relationships in the region. Collaborate nationally with teams across Canada to align technical approaches, share insights, and advance innovation. The Skills That Set You Apart Professional Engineer (PEO) with 10+ years of experience delivering structural engineering solutions across sectors. Deep technical expertise and ability to lead structural delivery on multidisciplinary projects with confidence and clarity. Strong knowledge of the Ontario Building Code (OBC) and National Building Code (NBC) with a solution‑oriented mindset. Expertise in structural modelling and analysis tools, applying advanced finite element methods. Client‑facing, responsive, proactive, and committed to service excellence. Compensation AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $103,500 – $137,400 (Grade 7, Tier 3) MB & ON: $104,500 – $143,900 (Grade 7, Tier 3) NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $103,500 – $137,400 (Grade 7, Tier 3) The final salary awarded for this role may vary based on several factors including education, qualifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business needs.
