Art Engineering Inc. (AEI) is currently seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our growing team in Kingston, Ontario.

Primary Responsibilities

- Complete structural analyses, calculations, and designs for a variety of projects
- Prepare structural drawings and technical reports for projects, while peer reviewing the work of fellow team members
- Conduct site inspections and field reviews
- Manage communications with contractors, clients, subconsultants, and internal teams throughout projects while strengthening professional relationships
- Manage projects to ensure schedule milestones and budget constraints are met
- Draft structural drawings and write technical reports
- Correspond / communicate with contractors and clients

Minimum Qualifications

- 5-8 years of relevant experience in Ontario (ideally with structural rehabilitation, restoration and/or maintenance projects)
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant local standards and codes (OBC, NBCC, MTO Manuals, etc.)
- Moderate level of proficiency in AutoCAD
- High level of proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills
- Valid ‘G’ driver's license and access to personal vehicle for travel to project sites
- Professional Engineer Designation (P.Eng) issued by Professional Engineers of Ontario
