Responsibilities Hybrid Cloud Strategy: Develop and articulate a comprehensive hybrid cloud strategy that aligns with organizational goals and future scalability requirements. Evaluate existing infrastructure and propose innovative solutions to migrate and integrate workloads seamlessly between on‑premises and cloud environments. Infrastructure Design and Engineering: Design robust and scalable infrastructure solutions that incorporate both on‑premises and cloud components. Collaborate with infrastructure engineering teams to implement and maintain the hybrid cloud architecture, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. Cloud Technology Expertise: Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in cloud technologies, providing thought leadership on how emerging tools and platforms can be leveraged to enhance our infrastructure. Work closely with cloud service providers to understand their offerings and ensure our architecture is optimized for cost, performance, and security. Security and Compliance: Integrate robust security measures into the hybrid cloud architecture, addressing potential vulnerabilities and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Collaborate with the security team to conduct regular audits and assessments of the infrastructure to identify and mitigate risks. Collaboration and Communication: Engage with cross‑functional teams, including development, operations, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and tailor infrastructure solutions accordingly. Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and informed decision‑making process. Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and analyse the performance of the hybrid cloud infrastructure, identifying areas for improvement and Oversee implementations to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Requirements More than 15 years of experience in planning / designing / delivering / optimizing Infrastructure solutions. Proven experience as an Infrastructure Architect with a focus on hybrid cloud environments. In‑depth knowledge of infrastructure engineering principles and practices. Expertise in cloud technologies, particularly with Azure Strong understanding of security best practices and the ability to implement security measures in hybrid cloud architectures. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Relevant certifications (Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.
