Base pay rangeCA$120,000.00/yr - CA$genoot000.00/yr Job Title: Senior Oracle Developer Hybrid: 3 days on-site Security Clearance Secret Level (Required) About the Role As a key member of our development team, you will design, code, and deploy security-focused solutions that protect and power our most critical systems. If you are operationally minded, self-directed, and motivated by solving abstract technical puzzles within a culture of "enhanced security," we want to meet you. Key Responsibilities Develop & Engineer: Design and code robust application programs, specifically focusing on the database layer for highly available systems. Security First: Define and deploy security-centric database solutions that exceed customer expectations and maintain organizational quality standards. Optimize & Scale: Conduct profiling and code efficiency analysis to ensure maximum operating efficiency of existing application systems. Modern Delivery: Build and maintain software via modern CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Github, UCD) within an Agile framework (Scrum/SAFe). Collaborative Design: Partner with remote teams and stakeholders to translate complex business use cases into scalable database implementations. Lifecycle Management: Manage the full lifecycle of database development, including testing, debugging, installation, and rigorous documentation. Technical resisting44thlskh 10+ years of Experience as a Senior Oracle Database Developer with expert-level knowledge of Oracle 11g and 19c. Advanced knowledge and proficiency in PL/SQL and ANSI SQL. Hands‑on experience with TOAD for Oracle. Experience with DevOps tools (JIRA, GitHub, Jenkins) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe). Proven track record in building secure, performant, and highly available database applications. Capabilities & Qualifications Mandatory: Must hold a valid Government of Canada Secret Level Clearance.
