Portfolio Manager – ScreenRant (Montreal, In‑Office) Job Overview Valnet Inc., a global media investment company, is seeking an ambitious Portfolio Manager to lead the strategic growth of ScreenRant, one of our largest entertainment brands. The role demands expertise in media management, strategy, or P&L leadership, with a strong affinity for the entertainment industry. Responsibilities Define and execute a portfolio strategy to maximize ScreenRant’s performance and growth, aligning teams on vision and initiatives. Drive revenue growth across programmatic advertising, direct sales, affiliate marketing, and other channels; secure strategic partnership opportunities. Manage P&L, ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining high content quality; identify and implement cost‑optimization initiatives. Oversee editorial and audience strategy, using data‑driven insights to guide content planning and maintain competitive advantage. Build and nurture a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance; mentor brand leaders and provide regular feedback. Analyze brand performance with KPIs, report progress to senior leadership, and adjust strategy accordingly. Identify and develop new projects or investment opportunities within the entertainment sector that complement the existing portfolio. Qualifications 5–15 years in roles such as General Manager, Portfolio Manager, Corporate Strategy, M&A, Private Equity, Operations Management, or Investment Banking. Proven strategic mindset with strong execution skills, deep understanding of P&L management and revenue optimization. Leadership experience managing teams, fostering a competitive yet collaborative environment, and making decisive, result‑driven decisions under pressure. Excellent analytical capabilities, trend identification, and data‑driven decision making. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and present to senior leadership. Benefits Full health insurance plan (medical, dental, vision).
