OverviewCategory & Shopper Development Analyst role at Irving Consumer Products. This position focuses on marketplace, category, and brand analytics to support Sales and CSD leadership.ResponsibilitiesMarketplace, Category, and Brand Analytics: Develop required marketplace, category and brand analytics as requested by Sales and CSD leadershipSupport the development of Category Leadership Plans, 5P playbooks as directed by the Director – Category StrategyProactively track and identify 5P marketplace opportunities and issuesConduct ad hoc analysis and reporting as directed by Director – Category StrategyCategory Reporting: Update regular monthly category reports and keep them current and relevant to the marketplaceEffectively communicate current and proactive category observations and marketplace dynamicsBusiness Planning: Run required reports and populate business planning templates for brand planning and strategic account plans at the country, channel and regional levelsCompetitive Intelligence and KPI Tracking: Develop competitive intelligence and KPI tracking templates; manage and update trackers; draw conclusions on observations and business implicationsQualificationsUniversity/College Degree requiredMinimum 1 year in broker, sales support, or an analytical roleConsumer Packaged Goods experience a plusStrong technical, report running, and analytical abilitiesProficient in Nielsen/IRI, Numerator, and other syndicated platformsProficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word; Tableau a plusStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail and data accuracyBenefitsFlexible medical, dental, and vision planEmployee & family assistance programRRSP matching programHealth & Wellness reimbursementsProduct purchase programOpportunities to take part in job-related training and developmentRelocation cost (if applicable)About UsFounded in 1882, J.D.
