Role Overview The Tableau Support Analyst will be responsible for developing and supporting Tableau reports, troubleshooting Tableau-related issues, and ensuring seamless integration of Tableau with various enterprise applications. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and excellent client-facing experience. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports for business stakeholders. Provide ongoing support for Tableau Server and Desktop environments across multiple VPCs (DEV, STAGE, PROD, DR). Manage performance tuning, background processes, and ensure high availability of Tableau services. Troubleshoot Tableau-related issues, including server health, connectivity, and data source errors. Utilize monitoring tools such as Splunk, DataDog, and PagerDuty for proactive alerting and incident management. Ensure compliance with security and monitoring policies using tools like Tanium and CrowdStrike Zero Trust. Integration & Automation Implement and support integration of Tableau with various enterprise applications using ODBC/JDBC drivers and APIs. Work with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, GitLab) for deployment and configuration of Tableau environments. Leadership & Client Engagement Lead a team of analysts and developers, providing guidance on best practices for Tableau development and support. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely delivery of solutions and maintaining strong relationships. Required Skills & Experience Technical Expertise Strong experience in Tableau report development and Tableau Server administration. Hands‑on experience with AWS‑hosted Tableau environments and related tools (CMT, RMT). Knowledge of monitoring and alerting systems (Splunk, DataDog, PagerDuty). Skill in SQL, data prep (ETL), advanced Tableau Desktop features (calculations, blending), dashboard design. Integration Skills Proven ability to integrate Tableau with multiple applications and data sources. Familiarity with scripting and automation for Tableau deployments. Leadership & Communication Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage client interactions effectively. Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with disaster recovery planning for Tableau environments. Familiarity with enterprise security and compliance tools. Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS) and DevOps practices.
