Key Responsibilities Provide mentorship and oversight to Program Management staff, supporting their professional growth and performance. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean practices to eliminate waste and increase efficiency across all operations. Oversee project initiation, including system setup for planning, creating project charters, and defining scope, risks, and resource needs. Develop and maintain a Master Project Schedule in MS Project, including deliverables, milestones, reporting, and risk mitigation. Lead regular project team meetings to review priorities, issues, and progress against schedules and budgets. Deliver monthly program updates to senior leadership, highlighting variances in cost, schedule, risks, and customer satisfaction. Prepare required reporting to support customer and contractual obligations. Present program status at management reviews and coordinate activities across engineering, planning, and operations teams. Ensure program activities meet regulatory and quality standards, including airworthiness requirements. Manage subcontractors and vendor performance to meet cost, schedule, and quality targets. Oversee resource allocation, budgets, and profitability goals while leveraging team strengths to achieve objectives. Compile and submit program closeout reports and transition programs to customer support. Qualifications & Experience 10+ years of experience managing complex projects within aviation or aerospace. Solid understanding of aircraft subsystems and integration. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Project and project management tools. PMP certification preferred. Business degree or equivalent experience preferred. Core Competencies Business acumen and financial management Accountability and integrity Innovation and continuous improvement mindset Customer service orientation Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills (written and oral) Planning, adaptability, and team collaboration Physical Requirements This position involves a combination of office-based and collaborative activities. The role primarily requires the ability to remain seated for extended periods, communicate effectively, and perform tasks involving the use of hands and standard office equipment. At times, the role may also involve light physical activity such as standing, walking, reaching, or lifting items up to 25 lbs. Visual capabilities including close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus are important for accuracy in reviewing documents and project materials.
