MRO Manager Mecaer Aviation Group (MAG) is an international provider of solutions for landing gear systems, interior finishing and refurbishment, and maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) for general aviation, helicopters, and business jets. MAG works with clients including Leonardo, Bell Helicopter Textron, Airbus Helicopters, Collins Aerospace, Gulfstream Aerospace, Korean Aerospace, Turkish Aerospace, and others. Job Summary Reporting to the Vice President & General Manager of Mecaer America Inc., the MRO Manager oversees MRO operations for components and systems. This role ensures that activities comply with safety and regulatory standards while optimizing productivity and resource efficiency. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate maintenance, repair, and overhaul activities. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (TCCA, FAA, EASA, Transport Canada). Lead and support the development of technical teams (supervisors, technicians, engineers). Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production Planning, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure smooth operational execution. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes, productivity, and operational efficiency. Monitor operational budgets and contribute to cost control. Maintain accurate documentation and compliance records. Promote daily safety and quality practices across operations. Qualifications Degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience. Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar MRO or OEM role. Experience supervising multidisciplinary technical teams. Knowledge of aerospace systems/components (mechanical, hydraulic, or electromechanical). Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Infor LN) and Microsoft Office. Willingness to travel within the company network.
