Department: Air QualityEmployment Type: Permanent - Full TimeLocation: Sherbrooke, QCCompensation: $60,000 - $85,000 / year Key Responsibilities Planning and completing technical aspects of assigned projects, including data collection, analysis, and ensuring QA/QC procedures are followed. Conducting air dispersion modelling and meteorological data processing. Conducting engineering and scientific estimation calculations for emission rates. Supporting greenhouse gas verifications and emission inventory development/reporting. Working to strict schedules and project milestones while maintaining product quality. Writing technical reports that present methodology, results and recommendations. Performing site visits and participating in client meetings. Complying with all applicable health and safety procedures and guidelines. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in related engineering/science disciplines. Familiarity with air dispersion modelling, emission inventories, greenhouse gas verifications, and/or ambient data analysis. Fluency in both French and English. Excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Strong people and team skills. Drive to continuously improve processes and enhance efficiency. Exceptional organizational capabilities and a methodical approach. Ability to travel occasionally for site visits and other project requirements. Asset Experience AERMOD and CALPUFF dispersion modelling. Greenhouse gas quantification or verification.
