Journeyman Steel Fabricator: Harvey 2318

We are currently looking for an experienced Journeyman Steel Fabricator to join our team

  • We are a supply only structural steel fabricator, servicing both the Canadian and US markets.

  • As a single source fabricator, we work closely with our customers to find innovative solutions to complex problems, and we deal with customer concerns promptly and efficiently.

Duties:

  • Reporting to the Production Manager, the Steel Fabricator will be responsible for fitting, fabricating, welding, and to ensure the plant is running smoothly, efficiently and safely.

Qualifications:

  • Good understanding of metal fabrication

  • Experience in fabricating handrail, stairs, columns ad beams

  • Red Seal Fabricator Ticket an asset

  • All position ticketed welder an asset

  • Ability to read blue prints

  • Ability to operate cranes

Competencies:

  • Self-starter

  • Team-oriented

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines

  • Able to work independently

This position is a fulltimeposition with competitive union wages
