OverviewMicrosys, a trusted IT solutions provider for over 20 years, is expanding across Canada and the U.S. We specialize in Sage ERP, Managed IT Services (MSP), and Software Development, and we’re looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to help drive our growth.In this role, you’ll generate new leads, build a strong sales funnel, and convert opportunities into sales through cold calling, follow-ups, and prospect nurturing. You’ll work closely with our sales team while learning our solutions and developing your career in IT sales.We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth.The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills and a passion for sales, particularly in B2B environments. This position requires excellent communication abilities in both English and Spanish, making it essential for engaging with diverse clientele.DutiesConduct market research and use marketing tools to identify potential clients and business opportunities.Identify and generate new leads through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, and other prospecting channels.Engage in telemarketing efforts to reach out to prospective customers and introduce our products/services.Qualify inbound and outbound leads to build a strong and predictable sales pipeline.Nurture relationships with potential clients and follow up consistently to move leads through the funnel.Work closely with the sales team to convert qualified opportunities into successful sales.Maintain accurate records of activities, leads, and opportunities in the sales pipeline.Continuously learn and develop a strong understanding of Microsys solutions, including Sage ERP, MSP, and Software Development services.Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align outreach efforts with campaigns and growth initiatives.Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly KPIs and targets.RequirementsMinimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or IT is an asset.Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in IT solutions, ERP, MSP, or software sales.Proven ability to generate leads and build a sales funnel.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with confidence in cold calling.Self-motivated, resilient, and goal-oriented with a strong desire to grow within the company.Ability to quickly learn new products, services, and technology concepts.Team players with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English are highly desirable.Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team-oriented environment.What We OfferCompetitive base salary with performance-based commission structure.Opportunity to work with an established IT company with 20+ years of industry expertise.Growth opportunities as Microsys expands across North America.Ongoing training and professional development in ERP, MSP, and software solutions.Supportive team culture that values innovation and collaboration. #J-18808-Ljbffr
