ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Responsible for ensuring all internal work for new and pre-owned vehicles is completed in an efficient manner.
  • Create accurate Internal Repair Orders (“RO”). This includes ensure parts are in stock before assigning the work, arranges for sublet and required accessories and prepares RO to repair damages, malfunctions or vehicle imperfections. Ensure all items are followed up on and completed.
  • Pro-actively communicate with the Financial Services team regarding delivery schedule and vehicle status.
  • Close internal RO’s to ensure accurate labour and department information is billed correctly.
  • Updates the pre-owned team daily regarding the status of the vehicle reconditioning and provide MPI reconditioning estimates.
  • Responsible for reviewing the warranty claims to ensure they met the minimum standards. Submit claims once they are reviewed and correct. Verify and monitor claims waiting for authorization. Submit claims for transit damage.
  • Coordinate with the detail and internal Technician teams to ensure work-flow scheduling and deliveries are completed on time.
  • Review each service appointment and confirm the accuracy of the appointment. With particular attention to warranties, parts availability and outstanding recalls.
  • Work in collaboration with the off-site Service Contact Centre to field questions and provide assistance.
  • Responsible for the daily filing of the RO’s.

ABOUT YOU

  • We are looking for a pro-active energetic individual who demonstrates exceptional customer service. Must be comfortable with customer interactions and inquiries, over the phone and in person.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and follow up on outstanding tasks through to completion. Must display strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to easily learn software systems such as CDK. Working knowledge of standard computer programs.
  • Must be dependable, punctual and have a “can do” attitude
  • Competent with both verbal and written communication. Ability to seamlessly and consistently communicate with both Sales and Service to ensure all staff are informed of vehicle status and issues.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience within the automotive industry.
