1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJob Description OverviewProject Procurement Team Leader (PPTL) supports the Procurement Manager in leading procurement execution across Grid Solutions projects in the North America region for the ACS product line.Role SummaryThe PPTL leads a team of project buyers and Project Procurement & Logistics Managers (PPLMs). The team ensures all procurement activities are executed on time, within budget, and with full compliance to GE Vernova sourcing policies. Acting as the first line of leadership and escalation, the PPTL drives operational performance, KPI achievement, and continuous improvement to ensure successful project delivery.Key MissionsManage daily procurement execution activities, ensuring timely PO creation, approvals, documentation, and expediting in line with project schedules.Act as the first point of escalation for procurement execution and supplier-related issues, ensuring prompt resolution and clear communication with internal stakeholders.Track and report procurement performance metrics (On-Time Delivery, PO Cycle Time, Savings, Claim Resolution, etc.) and drive improvement actions.Conduct regular team meetings.Provide onboarding and continuous training to team members.Coach and mentor team members to strengthen performance and problem-solving.Hold regular one-to-one discussions to give feedback and support growth.Foster a culture of operational discipline, compliance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Performance MeasurementOn-Time PO Issuance & Supplier DeliveryCompliance with PO Release Strategy and ApprovalsKPI Achievement (OTD, Say/Do, Function OTD, Claims)Effective Escalation and Issue ResolutionQualifications / RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum 7 years of procurement or supply chain experience, specifically in project‑based industries (Energy, Industrial, EPC, or Manufacturing).At least 3 years of team leadership experience.Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring small teams.Strong understanding of sourcing processes, supplier management, and ERP systems (SAP).Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.Desired CharacteristicsStrong leadership and people‑development skills.Proactive and results‑oriented, with strong attention to detail and follow‑through.Customer‑focused and quality‑driven approach.Strategic negotiation skills.Collaborative and adaptable across functions and cultures.Demonstrated commitment to compliance, integrity, and process improvement.Continuous improvement mindset with ability to identify and implement efficiency gains.You must have legal authorization to work in Canada and any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
