Reporting to the Director of Operations, this position involves working closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries, maintain quality standards, and support multiple departments. Identifying key inventory to track and setting proper min/maxesExpedite purchase orders to ensure department’s KPI for on track deliveries are metShip parcels/skids via courier and LTLOperate forklift and other material handling equipment to receive/ship productCommunicate supplier quality issues and rejections with appropriate vendors, entering NCR’sWork cross functionally to support multiple departments across the companyAssist in technical sourcing of components, meeting with vendors virtually and on siteCoordinate vendor managed inventory agreementsQualifications:3-5 years experience in technical procurementBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related fieldTechnical expertise with electronical component and mechanical sourcingExperience shipping courier and LTLFamiliar with Dangerous Goods shippingFamiliar with reading engineering drawingsPast experience with contract manufacturing, component sourcing in the battery, automotive and energy sectorForklift certifiedA self starter with ability to set and handle multiple prioritiesExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenPast experience using ERP systemsExperience in global sourcingCoordinating international shipments and working with customs brokerThe above job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position.
