How You’ll Impact the Community As a Plant Electrician at the City of Thunder Bay Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP), you will: Participate in the Plant’s facility maintenance system and recommend changes or modifications to such systems Plan, install, repair, maintain, connect, test electrical fixtures, apparatus, control equipment and wiring for systems of alarm, communication, light, heat, and power in buildings or other structures. Purchase equipment, material and parts required and recommend spare parts for inventory. Perform the duties of an Operator or Lead of Electrical when required. Recommend changes to existing systems and equipment.
