Underwriter/ Senior Underwriter- Private & Not-for-Profit Management Liability at Chubb As a key member of the Financial Lines underwriting department, you will have the role of managing and growing a Private and Not-for-profit Management and Professional Liability book of business. As such, you will play a critical role in the growth and profitability initiatives for this specialty department. Responsibilities Identifying, analyzing and developing sources of new business by actively marketing Chubb products; Market Focus, Strategy & Execution – develops new business opportunities and provides customized approaches on market conditions and broker needs, works closely with leadership on the development and execution of marketing strategy. Risk selection, coverage negotiation and pricing adequacy; Conduct in-depth underwriting analysis and determine best course of action on a risk‑specific basis; Working collaboratively with a centralized underwriting team on the retention of renewals and upselling on existing renewal book; Cross‑selling with Commercial field underwriters and Financial Lines underwriters; Establish and maintain strong relationships with a variety of brokers and insureds in the Central region, including educating brokers on Private and Not‑for‑Profit Management Liability segment. Participating in self‑development activities to improve or further develop technical product knowledge. Qualifications Successful completion of a university‑level curriculum and/or equivalent work experience; A minimum of 2 to 3 years of Management Liability experience is required. Bilingualism in French and English is an asset. Previous experience in marketing or customer development; Demonstrated track record of customer service orientation and proven ability to foster strong business relationships; Proven negotiation skills, gained through established broker relationships; Demonstrated analytical skills with a comfort in financial analysis; Ability to be innovative and creative in order to develop new opportunities; Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment; Results‑oriented, accountable, and collaborative.
