Operations Analyst – Zurich InsuranceJoin Zurich Canada as an Operations Analyst to coordinate, deliver, and strengthen training programs for new staff, drive quality checks on premium booking, and act as a liaison between operations, audit teams, and collections/finance groups. Reporting to the Manager of Technical Services, you will be responsible for onboarding new team members, supporting audit activities, and reconciling premium transactions against reports while ensuring reporting quality and operational excellence.What you will doCoordinate and deliver onboarding and technical training for new staff; serve as subject matter expertPerform quality checks on premium booking and reporting focusing on accuracy and assuranceAct as a liaison between operations, audit teams (internal/external), and collections/finance staffReconcile premium transactions booked in internal systems against reports; identify and resolve discrepanciesSupport audit processes by preparing documentation and explaining business booking methodsBuild, analyze, and interpret reports—including Power BI—to support decision‑making and quality controlConduct training needs assessments and develop training curricula for departmental staffCollect, interpret, and report departmental metrics within established deadlinesHelp ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and best practicesMaintain documentation and internal communications to support smooth operationsQualificationsRequiredBachelor’s Degree and 4 or more years of experience in OperationsOR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more years of experience in OperationsPreferredExperience with accounting or finance, especially reconciling transactions and reportsExperience building, interpreting, and explaining Power BI or similar reportsPrevious insurance industry experience (premium booking, returns, or operations)Experience supporting audit processes and liaising with audit, collections, or finance teamsProven problem‑solving, analytical, and organizational skillsPrior experience training staff and serving as an SMECulture & BenefitsZurich Canada offers a collaborative culture that values diversity, inclusion, equity and belonging (DIEB).
