Are you an experienced professional skilled at providing mass affluent investing clients with comprehensive financial planning and advice? If so, apply for the Financial Planner role to assist clients in meeting their financial goals and objectives. Responsibilities Identify client life and financial goals, provide comprehensive reviews, and build long‑term relationships through financial planning expertise, relationship building, and ongoing services. Conduct reporting and analysis, draw conclusions, make recommendations, and continually assess program effectiveness. Contribute to team and department goals while enhancing customer service and dedication. Monitor service, productivity, and assess efficiency; implement continuous improvements. Keep up with best practices and emerging trends. Acquire and apply expertise; mentor and guide others. Maintain a culture of risk management and control, aligned with risk appetite. Participate fully as a team member, supporting a positive and service‑oriented environment. Educational Requirements University Degree (preferred). 3–5 years in financial services managing client relationships, providing financial advice, and tailored investment solutions (preferred). Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or CFA Level 1 (or higher) required before start date. Complete Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH) within first 90 days. CIRO Registered Representative (RR) license within first 90 days. Complete Wealth Management Essentials (WME) within first 30 months. Achieve Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation within first 3 years. CFP Eligibility requirements: University Degree OR QAFP professional in good standing for minimum 5 years at time of application. Up to 10 years of qualifying work experience. Skills You Will Require Passion for financial planning and a desire to help clients reach financial & life goals. Entrepreneurial spirit to prospect external business development opportunities through networking; experience in high‑value sales and business development. Deep understanding of the industry, competitive landscape, economic market issues, and regulatory environment. Excellent people and problem‑solving skills to build and maintain client relationships. Strong communication skills with ability to work collaboratively and independently; ability to assist and build relationships.
