Griffith & Associates team is growing, and they are looking to hire an Associate Financial Advisor. The Associate Financial Advisor will be responsible for managing an assigned block of clients within the current book, and duties would include: meeting preparation, regular review meetings, portfolio rebalances, portfolio recommendations and tax planning, financial plan projections, and client follows ups.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Communicating with clients and servicing requests
- Providing investment administrative support
- Prepare, check and complete forms relating to account openings and transfers
- Meeting preparation and follow-up
- Maintain digital and physical filing on an ongoing basis
- Support other team members
- Administration of technology, resources, and tools
- Handle incoming calls and ensure queries are either handled or directed to the right individual

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Canadian Securities Course (mandatory)
- Provincial Life Insurance license, including Accident & Sickness (preferred but not mandatory)
- Experience working in an advisory role is required
- Experience in executing trading orders is required
- Salesforce and Naviplan experience is an asset
- Knowledge & experience of industry legislation, rules and requirements
- University degree or College diploma (preferred but not mandatory)
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and a CRM essential
- Willing to take applicable industry courses and professional development

**Education**:

- LLQP License - not required however experience within the insurance industry preferred.
- While not mandatory, a Certified Financial Planners (CFP) designation or a Personal Financial Planner (PFP) is an asset.
