We are seeking an experienced

Harvesting Supervisor

for a company in Dawson Creek, BC. You will provide all necessary support and expertise in harvest supervision and construction to meet the company's facility requirements.

Responsibilities: Supervise harvesting, road construction, road maintenance and deactivation activities. Participate in timber reconnaissance, layout, grass seeding, post-harvest assessments, and hazard abatement. Document and data management Ensure compliance with company policy, applicable government regulations May coordinate special projects as needed Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations Perform other duties, as necessary.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Forestry or Forest Technician Diploma. 3 years forestry experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position. In-depth knowledge of forestry procedures and harvesting systems In depth knowledge of road construction and road maintenance activities/techniques including deactivation. Knowledge of applicable government regulations Strong communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and analytical skills. Demonstrated supervisory experience Ability to operate ATVs. Class 5 Driver’s License required.
