About The Role Reporting directly to the site Hub Manager, the Delivery Operations Supervisor will provide on‑shift leadership to staff and oversee all hub‑related activities, including sortation operations, vehicle loading, and on‑road delivery operations. They will own day‑to‑day operations, coordinate vehicle capacity, and serve as the primary support person for hourly staff. Safety is of utmost importance; the supervisor will foster a culture of safety, reporting, and ensure all policies and procedures are followed. They will help shape and scale an industry‑leading chilled last‑mile delivery operation in the region, delivering thousands of freshly produced meal boxes to customers each day. What You Will Be Doing Manage a team of Warehouse Associates and Delivery Associates to meet quality standards, achieve performance metrics, and execute delivery processes end‑to‑end Accountable for health & safety compliance, record‑keeping, reporting and investigation Meet and exceed service KPIs and respond to customer service requests and escalations Conduct team huddles to convey safety messaging, quality tips, and maintain engagement and open communication with employees Supervise sortation operations, loading processes, and perform dispatching functions while on‑road; direct activities and provide training, coaching, and guidance Manage employee scheduling, time & attendance, and performance reviews Ensure communication on maintenance, availability, and security of all HelloFresh assets with the Fleet Asset Specialist Ensure compliance with all safety, GMP, and policies/procedures, including PPE/hygiene policies Build an inclusive workplace culture and relationships with all staff, delivering on development and retention goals Operate a lean facility by recommending and implementing new processes Design, develop, and implement warehousing and delivery training programs Provide coverage for the Hub Manager when required Other duties as assigned At a Minimum, You Have 2+ years of leadership experience in supply chain, transportation, or fulfillment companies 2+ years of direct management experience of employees, contingent workforce, or third‑party resources in a large‑scale environment Valid Class 5 licence (or equivalent in a Canadian province) Ability to meet schedules and organise work; can work alternative and flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required Leadership experience motivating and encouraging others Basic proficiency in manipulating data and reporting Can lift 50 lbs and participate in physical job activities such as standing, walking, and crouching daily; can work in hot, cold, and noisy environments Forklift, Reach Truck, or Stacker Operator, Electrical Power Jack licence is ideal, but training will be provided to the right candidate Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure in a fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented environment What You’ll Get In Return Competitive salary and health benefits 75% discount on HelloFresh or Chefs Plate weekly box subscription High‑impact work to help feed thousands of families in Canada Opportunity to learn and grow Work with a hard‑working and supportive team Working Conditions It’s no surprise that, as a food company, we use many ingredients that may be considered common allergens (i.e. peanuts, tree nuts, milk, etc.).
