OverviewResearch Assistant II, GEMINI. GEMINI ( www.geminimedicine.ca ) is a “made-in-Ontario” data platform and Canada\'s largest hospital clinical data research network. We have collected data for >2.4 million admissions (constituting > 20 billion datapoints) from more than 35 hospitals in all regions of Ontario (caring for >65% of Ontarians), enabling research about quality of care and patient outcomes. The GEMINI data platform supports >1000 researchers, clinicians and students from all across Ontario, with >100 active projects. GEMINI has been a core dataset in >100 grants that have received more than $140M in funding, held at more than 13 different institutions. GEMINI has become a system-wide resource for research, quality measurement and innovations in hospital care, including in the areas of Artificial Intelligence and advanced data analytics, and supports the training of a wide variety of highly qualified personnel.The GEMINI team is currently seeking a Research Assistant II to join its growing research efforts and in particular, to support an exciting project co-led by physicians and scientists from GEMINI, participating hospitals and collaborating partners. The primary role of the Research Assistant II is to lead patient chart abstraction for a large cross-institutional research study aimed at optimizing clinical teams to prevent delirium and implementing machine learning tools to target prevention efforts to patients who need them the most. This position is temporary casual, meaning the position is a 12-month contract and hours worked will be submitted, with an hourly range of 15 (minimum) to 37.5 hours (full-time) per week. #J-18808-Ljbffr
