OverviewDigital Marketing Specialist – Web Design & Development role at Vancity. This is a Full-time, Permanent hybrid position based at the Vancity head office and reporting to the Manager, Digital Marketing. Collaborate with writers, designers, marketers, and product experts to create seamless digital experiences, iterate on web pages and components, apply user research and analytics, and drive campaigns forward with polished online experiences.ResponsibilitiesCreate, iterate, and maintain exceptional online experiences that help members engage with their finances and impact on the world.Design, build, and manage design libraries and components; author and implement web pages and assets.Apply analytics, consumer insights, and user research to optimize experiences and inform new designs.Collaborate with web team, writers, creative teams, campaign owners, vendors, and people from research, product, and compliance.Refine Vancity’s identity with creative services, brand, and digital marketing teams.Optimize internal processes to improve efficiency and growth.Advocate for user experience best practices and share knowledge with colleagues.What You’ll Bring to the TeamBachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum 3 years of professional experience in marketing, UX, and/or web development.Proficiency with modern design, CMS and web tools (e.g., React JS, Tailwind, Sitecore, Figma, Photoshop, GTM, Webflow).Experience with SEO, web accessibility, and web analytics (GTM, GA4, Looker Studio or similar).Ability to translate user research, analytics, and insights into effective web experiences.Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams (marketing, content, product, compliance).Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to explain design decisions and advocate for UX best practices.Creative problem solver with attention to detail and a mindset for continuous improvement.You’ll Thrive Here If You AreCreative thinker who innovates in day-to-day work.Exceptionally organized with meticulous attention to detail; comfortable in fast-paced environments.A natural multitasker who handles multiple deadlines and projects.An excellent communicator who collaborates across functions and negotiates effectively.Note: We value lived experience; we encourage you to apply even if your skills don’t perfectly align with every listed requirement.Compensation & BenefitsWhat You’ll Earn: Salary range of $56,500 to $84,700 per annum. Base pay varies by qualifications, skills, and experience.
