Reporting to the Director of People Strategy & Inclusion, the Manager HR Operations / HRBP will be responsible for a team of 5 in four specific areas of HR: Compensation & Benefits, Talent Acquisition, HRIS and HR Programs & Policies. Compensation & Benefits / HR Reporting Lead annual compensation adjustments and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Conduct market analysis to maintain competitive pay structures and compliance. Advise leaders on compensation strategies and best practices. Align compensation with recruitment initiatives and talent acquisition objectives. Stay current on trends in compensation and job evaluation. Manage vendor relationships for benefits administration and service delivery. Talent Acquisition Develop and implement long‑term recruitment strategies aligned with organizational objectives and future workforce planning. Oversee end‑to‑end recruitment processes ensuring a seamless candidate experience and smooth onboarding for new hires. Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to assess effectiveness, identify improvement opportunities and measure success. Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulatory requirements throughout recruitment activities. HRIS & HR Technology Manage the administration and maintenance of the HRIS platform (e.g., UKG). Ensure HR data accuracy, security and compliance; develop partner reports for leadership and employees as required. Work with the service provider to configure, implement and modify software requirements based on changing business needs. Stay current on trends and developments in data management, HR technology and HRIS applications. Plan, develop and execute HR programs including policy management and employee engagement initiatives. Lead disability management and return‑to‑work programs ensuring compliance with legislation while supporting employee well‑being. Oversee creation, revision and implementation of HR policies and procedures to maintain consistency across the organization. Provide expert guidance and support to leaders and employees on HR programs, policies and best practices. Monitor program effectiveness through data analysis and feedback; recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and employee satisfaction. HR Business Partner Collaborate with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals and drive workforce planning. Champion initiatives that enhance engagement, retention and overall well‑being. Use analytics and HR metrics to provide insights that inform leadership decisions and improve performance. Guide leaders through organizational changes ensuring smooth transitions and positive outcomes. Partner with people leaders to implement performance management processes and foster a culture of continuous growth. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 5 years of demonstrated management experience leading, managing and coaching a team. 5 years of progressive HR experience including compensation/benefits, talent acquisition and HRIS or HR operations. Strong expertise in compensation and benefits design, job evaluation, market benchmarking and pay equity. Demonstrated experience managing full‑cycle recruitment and talent acquisition strategies. Experience administering and optimizing HRIS platforms with strong data management and reporting skills. Solid understanding of federal and provincial employment laws and regulatory compliance requirements. Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills. Ability to influence and provide guidance to senior leaders and business partners. Preferred / Asset Qualifications Advanced HR certification (e.g., CHRL, CHRP). Experience working in non‑profit environments. Familiarity with benefit administration and external service provider management. Demonstrated success in building HR dashboards and analytics tools to drive workforce planning and decision‑making. Experience leading disability management / return‑to‑work programs or employee wellness initiatives. Fluent in French and English is an asset.
