This opportunity offers interesting work and growth opportunities working with an incredible team in Ottawa, and partnering with other professionals located around the world.**What You’ll Be Doing*** Own and lead the end-to-end people strategy for different business units, acting as the single point of accountability for all HRBP matters.* Translate global BU strategy into a workforce plan, ensuring alignment across talent, structure, capability, culture, and cost.* Act as the primary HR advisor to business units, providing strategic counsel on organizational design, talent strategy, succession planning, performance management, and workforce optimization.* Proactively identify organizational risks and opportunities; recommend and implement solutions aligned to business outcomes.* Serve as a thought partner to BU leaders on scaling teams, enabling productivity, and building high-performance cultures* Partner closely with the General Manager, VPs, Directors, and senior technical leaders to shape org design, leadership capability, and operating effectiveness.* Serve as the trusted advisor and coach to leadership, providing candid counsel, data-driven insights, and pragmatic solutions.**What We’re Looking For****Education:** Bachelor’s degree in human resources, 10+ years of progressive experience, Business, Organizational Development, or related field; master’s degree preferred.**Experience*** HR experience, including 5+ years in a senior HR Business Partner or HR leadership role.* Proven experience partnering with executive leaders in complex, global, technology-driven organizations.* Strong background in organizational design, workforce planning, succession, and leadership development.**Skills:*** Strategic business partner – Translates business priorities into effective people strategies.* Executive presence – Trusted advisor who confidently challenges and influences senior leaders.* Org design & workforce expert – Shapes structure, capability, and scale for performance.* Leadership coach – Develops senior leaders and high-potential talent.* Change leader – Leads transformation and navigates ambiguity with confidence.* Data-driven – Uses insights to drive decisions and outcomes.* Sound ER judgment – Manages complex issues with credibility and discretion.* Highly collaborative – Builds strong partnerships across HR and the business.**Perks You’ll Love*** Flexible time off* Health and wellness benefits (physical and mental)* Tuition reimbursement and career growth support* A workplace built for you: free gym, games room, prayer room* Subsidized meals, free coffee/tea* Employee stock options and incentive plans* A collaborative, innovative, and inclusive culture**Join a Team That’s Shaping the Future**At Lumentum, we’re more than just a workplace—we’re a launchpad for creativity and innovation.
