Role Summary The Detailer is responsible for cleaning, polishing, and preparing vehicles to ensure they meet dealership and customer expectations for quality and appearance. This role supports both the Sales and Service departments by ensuring all vehicles are presented in excellent condition, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and the dealership’s professional image. Key Responsibilities Clean and detail the interior and exterior of new, used, and customer vehicles. Wash, wax, vacuum, shampoo, and polish vehicles using approved products and methods. Perform thorough inspections to ensure vehicles meet dealership and manufacturer standards. Safely move vehicles around the lot, service area, and delivery bays. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detailing area, tools, and equipment. Report any vehicle damage, defects, or concerns to the manager immediately. Follow all safety procedures and use protective equipment where required. Support vehicle deliveries and customer handovers by ensuring vehicles are spotless and presentation-ready. Assist with lot duties as needed (e.g., moving, staging, or organizing vehicles). Qualifications & Requirements Previous experience in automotive detailing is an asset but not required—training will be provided. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Physically capable of standing, bending, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
