Reporting directly to the Sales Director, this individual generates new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, relationship building, and creative sales strategies. This is a hunter-style sales role with a focus on OEM and private label nutraceutical products. The Business Development and Account Executive uncovers opportunities, builds long-term client relationships, and expands vertical growth within existing accounts—all while representing JY Care with professionalism, flexibility, and a strong customer-first mindset. The ideal candidate is energetic, outgoing, proactive, and detail-oriented, with strong selling and networking skills in the nutraceutical industry.Position DescriptionReporting to the Sales Director, the Business Development and Account Executive plays five key roles:1) Business Development & Sales ExecutionGenerate new corporate accounts through cold calling, prospecting, and networking with decision makers and influencersDevelop and execute strategies to build pipelines, qualify leads, and convert opportunities into long-term businessPromote OEM and private label product offerings to clients across the nutraceutical sectorDeliver outstanding customer presentations and proposals with professionalism and attention to detail2) Account Management & Client RelationshipsBuild strong, lasting client relationships based on trust, responsiveness, and service excellenceProvide a "yes" approach to customer service—supporting existing, past, and future clients with timely and personalized solutionsIdentify opportunities for vertical growth within accounts and proactively expand service offerings3) Market Development & NetworkingAttend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to create new opportunities and strengthen brand presenceStay informed about industry trends, competitive activity, and customer needsCollaborate with internal teams (production, R&D, quality) to support customer-specific projects4) Sales Reporting & PerformanceMaintain accurate pipeline and sales activity records in CRM or reporting systemsMeet or exceed sales targets, quotas, and performance objectivesDemonstrate strong time management by balancing prospecting, selling, and account management activitiesRequirementsRequired QualificationsMinimum 1 year of inside sales experience in the nutraceutical industryProven track record in new business development and client acquisitionStrong communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsSelf-motivated, energetic, and proactive with a hunter sales mentalityAbility to organize and manage multiple priorities independentlyAbility to travel to the United StatesPreferred QualificationsExperience selling OEM and private label nutraceutical productsEstablished industry network with decision makers and influencersFluency in Mandarin is considered a strong assetCore competenciesSales Drive & Resilience: Hunter mentality with persistence in pursuing opportunitiesRelationship Building: Ability to develop strong trust and rapport with clientsCustomer Service Excellence: Commitment to exceeding client expectationsTime Management & Autonomy: Skilled at prioritizing and balancing multiple activitiesProfessionalism & Flexibility: High presentation standards with adaptability to attend events and engage where opportunities ariseBenefitsAt JY Care, you'll be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team dedicated to developing innovative, sustainable health and wellness products.
