Seniority Level Mid-Senior level Employment Type Full-time Job Function Information Technology Responsibilities The IT Infrastructure Analyst -TSML is responsible for the design, implementation, monitoring and maintenance of on- and off-premise data centre infrastructure, including servers, storage, electronic messaging, virtualization, cloud-based services, remote systems hosting, infrastructure process automation, data backup and archival systems and processes, systems management software, and related products. Provides technical support and maximizes operational efficiency for data center infrastructure. Performs the role of technical lead for data centre infrastructure projects. Monitors and maintains data centre infrastructure performance and capacity. Coordinates Change Management for the infrastructure and supporting applications. Provides resolution support for all escalated data centre infrastructure related operational issues and service requests. Provides expertise and assistance to IT staff concerning data centre infrastructure requirements. Provides expertise and assistance for BIA and DR activities, including planning, testing and communication to stakeholders. Qualifications Requires a diploma in computer science or related discipline from a recognized institute of technology, specializing in data centre infrastructure. Requires 3.5 years previous experience in an information systems environment involving data center infrastructure design and analysis, troubleshooting and complex project implementation at a senior level in a large enterprise. Requires M365 experience, SAAS and various cloud concepts and administration. Requires understanding in depth of data/voice networking concepts, and SQL Server database high availability and administration. A further period of six (6) months on the job is required to become thoroughly familiar with TSML's architecture plan, IT policies and standards and its specific infrastructure components. Requires understanding backups and replication of data protection systems, and has min 3 years of experience in this field. Requires understanding of virtualization and hyperconverged solutions. Recruitment Process An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process. A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions. Work Schedule 37.5 hours per week. Work Designation Hybrid. This position offers the flexibility of working both on-site and work from home.
