Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.As a core member of our Private Assets team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.About You:You have a University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or professional accounting designation (CFA, CGA, CMA, CA, CPA).3 - 5 years of fund accounting experience in either a Private Equity Fund, Private Equity administrator or other financial institution where the accountant has gained financial products knowledge.Experience in reviewing and preparing general ledgers and financial statements.Strong leadership skills and supervisory experience of other professionals.Project management skills with attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Especially Excel and Word), experienced user of the FIS Investran PE accounting platform highly desirable.Our BenefitsYour well-being is of paramount importance to us, and central to our success. Accommodations are available upon request for candidates taking part in all aspects of the selection.Your Role:You will prepare periodical Net Asset Value calculations for the Private Equity Funds, including Financial Statement preparation, trial balance review and Partner/Shareholder Allocation calculations.Execute the financial control elements covering assets, liabilities, income and expenses and equity.Independently complete cash, portfolio, and capital reconciliations and investigate and resolve any discrepancies.Independently prepare and reconcile income and expense accruals, including calculating admin fees, management fees and carried interest.Prepare capital events for Private Equity Funds.Prepare Investor Capital Account Statements and Reporting.Monitor compliance with various client service level agreements, including manage and monitor the timing and quality of client deliverables.Liaise with internal and external parties to ensure that client needs are met.Demonstrate understanding of Private Equity Fund types and mechanics and provide technical accounting/industry knowledge to clients as needed.Coordinate with Investor Relations, Tax, Financial Reporting, and other Citco groups/teams globally.Help coordinate, manage and monitor external audit processes.Review client funds’ partnership agreements, PPMs and other materials.Implementation of efficiency initiatives in a timely manner.Generate ad hoc reports as required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
