Senior Fund Accountant, Fund Accounting – Private Assets (Traditional PA) Overview Join Citco, a market leader in asset servicing with a long history of innovation and growth across asset classes and geographies. This role is with the Private Assets team, delivering award-winning services for complex fund structures to clients. Responsibilities Complete the monthly net asset value preparation, including cash and portfolio reconciliations, income and expense accruals, partner/shareholder allocations, and financial statement preparation. Maintain the general ledger and various sub-ledgers; prepare and review trial balances and work paper products. Manage and monitor the timing and quality of client deliverables; interact with senior management and clients. Provide technical accounting and industry knowledge to clients. Coordinate with Operations, Tax, Investor Relations, Financial Statement groups, and other Citco groups. Review private equity fund clients’ partnership agreements, PPMs and other materials; implement fund structures on accounting systems. Interact daily with the P&L team on valuations and price analysis; complete ad hoc reports as needed. Qualifications 3 - 5 years of fund accounting experience in private equity funds, a private equity administrator, or other financial institution with financial products knowledge. Experience in reviewing and preparing general ledgers and financial statements. Strong leadership and supervisory experience of other professionals. Project management skills with attention to detail and ability to multi-task. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Working knowledge of Excel and Word; experienced user of the SunGard Investran PE accounting platform is highly desirable. Benefits Your well-being is paramount.
