The Opportunity We’re seeking skilled General Carpenters to join our modular construction team. As a General Carpenter, you’ll play a vital role in crafting and assembling modular components that adhere to design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards. Retirement Savings Plan Responsibilities Perform a range of carpentry tasks, including framing, backing, trim work, and installations, ensuring compliance with design drawings, specifications, and safety standards. Safely operate a variety of hand and power tools essential for building construction. Interpret and follow blueprints, plans, and specifications accurately. Execute material take-offs with precision to minimize waste and optimize resource utilization. Collaborate effectively within a team or independently, adapting to project needs. Assist and coordinate with other suppliers and trades to ensure project progression. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and materials are orderly. Handle, load, and transport materials, equipment, and tools to project sites. Effectively manage the loading and unloading of materials and equipment. Undertake additional tasks as directed by supervisors, contributing to project success. Contribute to manual labor tasks as required by supervisors. Handle medium to high physical demands, including lifting (20-100 lbs). Promote safety by identifying and promptly reporting potential hazards. Adhere to ANC Modular Inc Ontario Health and Safety Association, and MSDS safety standards. Qualifications Proven experience in carpentry and building construction. Proficiency in reading and comprehending blueprints and plans. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Physical ability to handle medium to high physical demands.
