Real Canadian Superstore is excited to offer an immediate opening for a dynamic Department Manager. This position is a critical leadership role that drives sales, enhances the customer experience, and mentors a high‑performing team. What you’ll do: Oversee day‑to‑day operations of a specific store department. Ensure the department meets or exceeds sales and profitability goals. Train and develop associates in customer service, product knowledge, and merchandising. Maintain merchandise inventory, staging, and pricing standards. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with other departments for replenishment. Manage departmental expenses and assist in budget preparation. Communicate regularly with store management and other department managers to align on store‑wide objectives. Identify and recruit top talent to build a diverse, inclusive team. Lead, coach, and motivate associates to improve productivity, engagement, and retention. What you bring: High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred. Retail management experience, preferably in a department or specialty store setting. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop associates. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Knowledge of retail operations – merchandising, inventory management, and customer service. Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. We offer a competitive salary range of $48,000.00 – $58,000.00, comprehensive benefits, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for professional growth.
