Responsibilities Review all documentation received for disability claims (application forms, medical information, employment data, insurer documents). Triage claims to assess rehabilitation potential and develop case management plans. Interview claimants and employers by telephone before making claim decisions. Proactively manage claims to minimize disability periods and return claimants to work. Utilize available resources for appropriate diagnosis and treatment. Ensure compliance with rehabilitation interventions and related recommendations. Initiate assessments such as independent medical examinations, functional capacity examinations or surveillance when necessary. Maintain clear written and verbal communication with claimants, employers, physicians, treatment providers, internal staff, brokers, third‑party administrators, lawyers, and other parties. Qualifications Post‑secondary degree in Kinesiology, Psychology, Disability Management or a related discipline. Associate, Life and Health Claims (ALHC) designation is an asset. 3–5 years of related experience. Proficiency in English. Knowledge of French is a plus.
