You’ll work closely with pharmacists and teammates to ensure our customers receive accurate, timely, and pleasant service—every visit, every time.Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer ServiceGreet customers warmly and collect prescription information in accordance with Pharmacy StandardsDeliver service based on assigned roles and workflow prioritiesDirect all clinical questions to the PharmacistSet clear and realistic expectations for wait timesProcess prescriptions and related purchases efficientlyEnsure customers requiring counseling are referred to the PharmacistHandle cash register duties within the dispensaryMaintain strict confidentiality and privacy standardsAdministrationReceive and process new and refill prescriptions following Standard Operating ProceduresPrepare and submit orders (excluding controlled drugs and narcotics)Adjudicate third-party billing (online and manual accounts)Answer phones and route inquiries appropriatelyManage incoming faxes in accordance with Pharmacy Standards of PracticeAssist pharmacists with patient callbacksAccurately file documentation as requiredPrescription WorkflowSupport prescription preparation to company and professional standardsEnter data for new prescriptions and manage refill requestsSelect medications according to Pharmacy Standards of PracticeCount, measure, package, and label prescriptions accurately and efficientlyMaintain precise records within pharmacy systemsSkills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma requiredPharmacy Assistant diploma (from an accredited program) preferredPrevious pharmacy experience an assetStrong organizational and multitasking skillsProblem-solving mindsetExcellent attention to detailWhy you’ll love working hereYou’ll be part of a collaborative team that values respect, positivity, and great customer care.
