Hydroelectric Project Manager – AtkinsRéalis We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hydroelectric Project Manager to join our dynamic team, focusing on power projects (Hydropower, transmission lines, renewable power, green hydrogen and other related fields). The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of hydroelectric projects, ensuring they meet client and corporate expectations. Your role Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of power projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met. Manage and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Monitor project budgets, control expenditures, and ensure financial targets are achieved. Develop and implement strategic plans for project delivery, aligning with the company's goals and objectives. Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability. About You Bachelor's degree in engineering. Advanced degrees (relevant master's degree or MBA) are highly desirable. Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant project management experience in hydroelectric, with a minimum of 7 to 10 years in the energy industry. Experience on Hydro-Quebec projects or other comparable public utility companies would be an asset. Exceptional leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools. PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred. Fluency in French and English, as required for an international company with clients worldwide.
