Licensed Team Lead – Mississauga, ON – LensCrafters Licensed Team Lead role at LensCrafters in Mississauga. Join a team to deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to store success. Location and Position Store #000918 LensCrafters – Full‑time Key Responsibilities Ensure the LensCrafters team provides unsurpassed customer service. Proactive and solution-driven execution with accurate product knowledge. Assist customers with selections, provide recommendations, and support sales associates. Serve as a responsible alternate store key holder. When holding an Opticianry license, provide expertise on lens choices, adjust/repair eyewear, present and dispense eyewear, and perform accurate digital measurements. For lab work, custom-fit glasses, place prescriptions, strengthen associate knowledge, ensure optical standards, maintain a safe work environment, and manage lab tools and systems. Basic Qualifications HS diploma or GED. Current and valid state Opticianry license. Strong optical and retail experience. Knowledge of current optical theory and merchandise. Strong communication, listening, interpersonal, and basic math skills. Sales and problem‑solving skills. Experience with cash register, computers, calculators. Leadership and training experience. Edging and mounting experience. Basic optics knowledge and optical measurement experience. Preferred Qualifications State licensure (if applicable) or ABO certification in non‑licensed states. LensCrafters Final Eyewear Inspector certification. LensCrafters Quality, Fitting and Adjusting Program training. Optical machinery or instrument experience. Customer service experience. AccuFit Digital Measurement System certification. Knowledge of current store merchandise and lens options. Compensation and Benefits Employee pay is determined by geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
